Pagoda PR developed well planned and targeted content – with room for even further growth across social and digital platforms – to showcase the valuable role of migration in Scotland using emotive personal stories. Recognising migration is a highly contentious issue, this was a hardworking initiative with a great hashtag – #wearescotland. External support secured from Scottish rugby, football and Talent Scotland widened its reach and credibility amongst target audiences. The link to the NHS 70th celebrations, promoting the role of migrant nurses, was well thought out and executed. The highly effective toolkit and content produced to support stakeholders to issue their own stories increased credibility and reach for We Are Scotland – a worthy winner.

The TV Guide ‘TV Set in Scotland’ highlighted Scottish TV and film locations and attractions, capturing the attention of the media and public alike. The dedication to Scottish inventor and TV pioneer John Logie Baird was a lovely tribute. This is a unique travel publication which linked to an equally strong digital presence via #setinscotland to promote Visit Scotland’s online activity around screen tourism.
